The Real Faith....


This is a miracle and this can be attributed to the holy faith that we the fans of the first champion of the professional futbol league in Colombia have. Tomorrow REAL MADRID will be arriving to Bogotá to play Thursday night against our humble and very small ( if compared to Madrid) team. While RM have stars such as Raul, Iker Casillas, Robhino, Saviola, Van Nistelrooy, Schneider, Pepe, I mean almost every player within the roster of the team is first class players, SANTA FE has very good and young players such as Luis "Mosquito" Mosquera, Luis M. Seijas, Edizon Toloza and the best goalkeeper within the Colombian scene " San" Agustin Julio, Colombia's national team goalkeeper.

It's ironical that I won't have the chance to see the game because at the moment I'm outside Colombia and well won't be back until next week but still even though I will not be there I wanted to wish my team and not only my fellow Rojo Fans, but the whole country of Colombia an applause and a congratulation because slowly we are recovering from a terrible situation and small things like this will show the whole world that Colombia is way more than just the bad news that show on CNN or BBC...

Let's hope that the show will amuse the 50 thousand souls that will gather for sure in the stadium and that both teams show the greatness of Futbol and even though RM has all the chances of winning the game for 11 obvious reasons I still believe like every year that the local tournament begins, that SANTA FE will overcome and will win....

But just to know that my little humble team is playing against probably one of the top 3 teams in the world just fills my chest with pride and glory....and so it will for all colombians!!!

Without a doubt, this is one of the main accomplishments of the red team. However, this event has not received a strong support from the fans. This tends to be a problem in this team. Even with such a glorious team such as Madrid, fans don’t make that extra effort to buy a ticket to go and see their team. This has been a constant in Santa Fe. They always have fewer fans when playing with Millonarios, Nacional and América. Let’s hope this new economical and technical boost the team is showing recently may stop the lack of enthusiasm and perhaps may even bring more new fans to this traditional team of Bogotá. Personally, I hope Madrid wins because it’s one of my favorites from around the world.

Well that is really something that is true and well I think that this match will show that there are a bunch of fans but they are just tired and bored with the results of a team that hanst been a champion in over 25 years. So really the fans are just the old generation fans and the young ones dont identify with the team because they dont see a winning team while the other kids like Millonarios , Nacional or America ( winning teams in the 90's) have bigger amount of fans because they actually saw their teams win and being big teams within southamerica.

By the way all the tickets are sold out and well the most expensive tickets were sold out a week and half after they were out for sale, so I'm pretty sure we will see the stadium filled with fans!!!

Well, if you check www.tuboleta.com official ticket seller, all but one, of several type of locations have still availability. Of course, tickets are ridiculously elevated, but still is Real Madrid.

Thank you mauro82, for your ifnormation about the tickets, last time I checked they were only selling ORIENTAL, NORTE and SUR.

Well let's hope people will come...!!!

El Circo Santa Fe abre sus puertas...

Amigos y amigas...bienvenidos al circo Santa Fe. Bolillo decide quedarse y apoyado por los propios jugadores que libran de toda culpa al DT dicen que ahora se comprometen a dejar todo en la cancha. Vi un video donde Meluk ( en esta ocasión creo que acerto 110%) en donde dice que Bolillo gano esta partida de poker con un par de 2's . No es porque tuviera la mejor mano, sino porque realmente supo que los directivos NO tenían plan B; encima de esto el Manager Deportivo mostró tener mas integridad y firmeza que cualquiera al decir, NO regreso al puesto de DT ( además para que someterse a esa tortura, si ya habiendo logrado mas que cualquier otro técnico en los últimos tiempos, salio por la puerta de atras) y una mano de jugadores que a pesar de estar entre los mejores pagos del torneo dicen que dejaran todo en los próximos partidos, entonces....antes que dejaban...el 80%?? el 60%??? Fuerza Sultán

Después de ver lo que le paso a Elkin Soto, puedo decir que tal vez ha sido una de las peores lesiones que haya visto en mi vida. Es verdad que las lesiones de tibia y peroné son sangrientas y gráficas, pero ni siquiera estas dan tanto tiempo de recuperación. Hoy el equipo sacó un comunicado en donde explicaron que se hizo durante la recuperación de la rodilla, donde básicamente todo salio de su lugar y se rompió todo o casi todo lo que se podía romper.  En una cirugía de dos horas y media, lograron arreglar gran parte del daño y estarán esperando de dos a tres meses para ver como va a estar el ligamento cruzado que no se rompió pero estuvo a punto de ser parte de la masiva lesión. Sea lo que sea, le deseamos la mejor de las recuperaciones al Sultán y que pronto pueda volver a caminar y tener una vida normal, después de esto veremos si puede volver a jugar a la pelota.

Quien se atreve a pescar en Rio revuelto!!!

Probablemente este tema ya esta quemado, pero pues sigo diciendo que realmente el fútbol suramericano sigue en caída y rápida. Si tomamos como referencia la liga argentina, una de las ligas que marcan diferencias no solo del continente sino del planeta, vemos que se esta reflejando una triste realidad que sucede no solo en Argentina sino en el resto del continente. Tomemos el ejemplo de Boca Juniors. En donde se preocuparon por traer al Pocho Insua, por asegurar la continuidad de Riquelme, dejaron ir a casi todos sus nuevos talentos y encima no le renovaron contratos a jugadores que era parte de la espina dorsal como Vargas. Llegaron jugadores como Marino y otros que si ustedes se ponen a ver ganan mas que el propio Fabian Vargas, entonces a que están jugando los directivos??? River, el otro grande de Argentina, que tiene la vitrina mas "llamativa" en donde tiene a un Burrito Ortega que parece una version "gastada" de ese capitan que veiamos liderar a los de banda c
