Keep Walking....
Futbol, in many cases can be a true reflection of life and just like in life there are some examples that are admirable and that shows that no matter what happens and how many times you think that destiny or faith is against you, like the big men in history you just have to keep on walking.
Michael Owen, has been a player that was considered at one point as the new wonder in the futbol scene and many saw him as the future of modern futbol, probably one of the big British "lions" after the generation of Paul Gascoigne and Peter Shilton. He became the icon of a renewed LIVERPOOL and was meant to become a new legend within the history of the club. But the failure of the team and reigns within the PREMIER LEAGUE of teams like MANU or ARSENAL resulted in the sale of Michael Owen to REAL MADRID.
After this movement to Spain, his career has been overshadowed with injuries and what was at one moment the best player and the "kid" with best future, had sadly become a regular Joe and just another one of the bunch.
Right now he hasn't given up on his chances and his strength of playing and scoring goals that is what really motivates him to keep on playing the game. He has truly transformated into a new and renewed player that has lost the pressure of being the player that everyone expected him to be and I think if it wasn't because of his injuries he would be a truly outstanding player.
I think MO has to be thankful that he had the chance to play for the best teams of the world and live the fantasy of millions of frustrated ( including me) futbol fans, he got to live what all of us dream to live coming out of the tunnel, looking at thousands of fans cheering and yelling his name.So basically he can't be sad that it "ended" ( he still is a great player) but has to realize where he is at this point and try to give to his team NEWCASTLE the best of him and collaborate with the rest of his team mates to position the team back in the places of honor of the PREMIER league.
