Impossible is nothing....


This entry is about ADIDAS' marketing campaign concept IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING. I really a truly believe that they nailed a huge insight that most of us human beings bare inside ( not only futbol players or sports players). Life is filled with obstacles but somehow you will have to overcome them.

So many times we've seen our dreams and goals just blown away because we are afraid, we just put our fears and problems ahead of everything else and let them win the game. I truly like MESSI's example, because him being Argentinian, I can relate more to his case more because of the social situation of my country to his own. As a little boy, he used to play for Newell's Old Boys from Rosario and his family had just barely enough to live with; so when he was diagnosed with the hormone problem they discovered in him there was little faith for him to grow up to full size and become a great futbol player.

Well, he showed us better and he overcame all the obstacles there were in the way. Talent ( a very important thing and its not only physical, in sports 80% is mental power) combined with courage and convicition in your goals will give you th edge to reach them.

I know that my team hasn't been a champion fot the past 29 years and I still haven't seen them champions, but I'm still true to the colors and what my team represents, someday (hopefully soon) things will change and with faith and dreams we will be the champions again.

And that goes for everybody that thinks they are in a bad situation or in a place they think they are trapped without any roads or places to go; just look the little and maybe stupid and irrelevant examples like the one MESSI gave us...that may have nothing to do with "real" life, but he proved to us that really IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING.......

El Circo Santa Fe abre sus puertas...

Amigos y amigas...bienvenidos al circo Santa Fe. Bolillo decide quedarse y apoyado por los propios jugadores que libran de toda culpa al DT dicen que ahora se comprometen a dejar todo en la cancha. Vi un video donde Meluk ( en esta ocasión creo que acerto 110%) en donde dice que Bolillo gano esta partida de poker con un par de 2's . No es porque tuviera la mejor mano, sino porque realmente supo que los directivos NO tenían plan B; encima de esto el Manager Deportivo mostró tener mas integridad y firmeza que cualquiera al decir, NO regreso al puesto de DT ( además para que someterse a esa tortura, si ya habiendo logrado mas que cualquier otro técnico en los últimos tiempos, salio por la puerta de atras) y una mano de jugadores que a pesar de estar entre los mejores pagos del torneo dicen que dejaran todo en los próximos partidos, entonces....antes que dejaban...el 80%?? el 60%??? Pele en blanco y negro...

Señores, encontré un articulo en donde afirman que Pele le dice a Messi que si no anota 1000 goles no será una leyenda y para rematar en uno que otro articulo hablando acerca de que no pueden compararlo con él. La verdad me parece que con todo el respeto que se merece, Lionel al paso que va, de lejos llegara a ser el mejor jugador de la historia. Tiene 22 años y ya ha ganado todo menos la copa mundo, pero digamos que así como esta apenas va jugar su segunda copa del mundo y encima le quedan bajito, otras dos!!!! Ahora, porque me atrevo a escribir esto que parece ser una herejía para algunos. Una carta de un hincha Santafereño...

Hoy Santa Fe perdió contra el Huila dos a cero y hoy por hoy compartimos el ultimo lugar de la tabla del torneo profesional del fútbol colombiano. Ya en varias ocasiones he escrito sobre mi equipo. Es el mismo que desde que tengo uso de razón, mi abuelo (QEPD) me enseñó a querer y a seguir. Pero esta historia comenzó mucho antes de que yo naciera y se remonta a la década del 40 cuando en el centro de nuestra amada Bogot á  en donde se reunieron personajes ilustres que decidieron armar un equipo de fútbol, CLUB INDEPENDIENTE SANTA FE.
